The Lord of the Rings (books and movies)

The Lord of the Rings is a high-fantasy novel written by J.R.R. Tolkien. The story began as a sequel to Tolkien's 1937 fantasy novel The Hobbit but eventually developed into a much larger work. It is one of the best-selling novels ever written, with over 150 million copies sold. The narrative is set in the fictional world of Middle-earth and follows the quest to destroy the One Ring, which was created by the Dark Lord Sauron to control the other Rings of Power and conquer Middle-earth. Metro 2033 (books)

Metro 2033 is a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky (it's also one of my favorite book !). The story is set in the Moscow Metro, where the last survivors of a global nuclear holocaust have taken refuge. The novel follows a young man named Artyom as he embarks on a perilous journey through the dark and dangerous tunnels of the Metro to save his home station from a new threat. The book is known for its atmospheric and immersive depiction of a dystopian world, as well as its exploration of themes such as survival, humanity, and the consequences of war. Metro 2033 has been adapted into a successful video game series, who expand further the universe created by Glukhovsky. This saga clearly deserve a movie !!!
